The "TuneSelect" feature, on the Roady2, alerts a listener when their favorite artist is playing on another channel. Can the Delphi XM Roady, Roady2, or RoadyXT be used on an airplane?
The FCC and FAA have not certified the Roady, Roady2, or RoadyXT for use in any aircraft (neither portable nor permanent installation). Therefore, Delphi cannot support this type of application or installation.
What is the difference between the Delphi XM Roady2 and RoadyXT?
The RoadyXT is smaller and lighter than the Roady2. The Roady2 and RoadyXT have most of the same functions. Although the RoadyXT has over 100 FM Frequencies to choose from for the built-in FM Transmitter vs. the 12 that he Roady2 offers. The RoadyXT also has the option of choosing a song when using the "TuneSelect" feature, where the Roady2 only allows you to choose an artist.
Does the Delphi XM RoadyXT have a battery, so it can be used like the Delphi XM MyFi?
No, the RoadyXT does not have a battery. It has a home base and vehicle base in which it docks to receive power and a signal from XM

My vehicle does not have a cassette player, what do I do?
If you have the Roady, you will need to either purchase a Delphi FM Modulator (SA10003-11B1) or a Delphi Universal Audio Adaptor (SA10081-11P1). The Delphi FM Modulator requires professional installation. If you have the Roady2, it already has a built in FM Transmitter. Please see page 12 of your Roady2 User Guide for instructions. If you have the RoadyXT, it also has a built in FM Transmitter. Please see page 16 of your RoadyXT User Guide for instructions.
I'm receiving static when I use the built-in FM Transmitter on my Delphi XM Roady2 or RoadyXT, what are my other options?
You may purchase the FM Direct Adaptor (SA10112-11P1). This will connect your Roady2 or RoadyXT directly to your vehicles FM Antenna, providing a direct connection. We do recommend that you have the FM Direct Adaptor professionally installed.

Does the antenna work if placed inside the vehicle?
It is recommended to install the antenna on the roof of the vehicle for optimal performance. If this is not an option, placing the antenna on the dashboard as close to the windshield as possible will generally still get you a sufficient signal strength to hear XM radio. It is possible to experience signal disruption with the antenna located inside the vehicle.
What is the clip used for on the bottom of the Delphi RoadyXT vehicle cradle?
The clip on the bottom of the cradle is used for wire management. After connecting your power/antenna/line out cables you can place them under the clip for strain relief and optimal appearance

What is the Delphi RoadyXT?
The RoadyXT is the third generation Roady product from Delphi. It is the smallest and lightest plug and play satellite receiver on the market. The RoadyXT comes with everything needed to function in a vehicle.
Where can the Delphi XM RoadyXT be used?
The RoadyXT includes everything you need to listen to satellite radio in your vehicle. You can also listen to satellite radio in your home with the RoadyXT Home Kit (SA10176-11P1).
Does Delphi XM RoadyXT work with any other Delphi accessories?
The RoadyXT has a separate Home Kit (SA10176-11P1) which includes a remote (that is also sold separately) and also works with the Delphi XM Signal Repeater (SA10116-11B1), the FM Direct Adaptor (SA10112-11P1), and the 50' Antenna Extension Cable (SA10006-11B1). The existing Delphi home antenna and audio cables work with the RoadyXT. The current MyFi (SA10113-11P1) AC & DC power adaptors also work with this unit.
How does it work?
First call 1-800-852-9696 to activate your RoadyXT. Keep the unit on channel 1 for approximately one hour to receive the XM activation signal. The receiver accepts the 150 Channel, XM signal through the mini-micro antenna and plays in the vehicle with three different options. The tape adaptor comes with the unit and the built-in wireless FM transmitter makes any radio an XM radio. Simply turn the radio to the same station as the receiver's preset FM frequency and 100% digital music will be playing through the vehicle's speakers. The third option is the FM Direct adaptor, which plugs into the head unit and cuts out all other FM frequencies so the receiver's transmitter works with no interference.
Is there an Audio System available that will work with the XM RoadyXT?
Yes, there is an Audio System with XT Adaptor (SA10201-11B1) and a CD Audio System with XT Adaptor (SA10205-11B1) available from www.shopdelphi.com/shopRoady/. The Delphi Premium Sound System (SA10201-11B1) is also compatible with the Roady XT.
Does the antenna work if placed inside the vehicle?
It is recommended to install the antenna on the roof of the vehicle for optimal performance. If this is not an option, placing the antenna on the dashboard as close to the windshield as possible will generally still get you a sufficient signal strength to hear XM radio. It is possible to experience signal disruption with the antenna located inside the vehicle. Signal disruption can also occur in tunnels, downtown areas, and mountains.
What vehicle mounting options are there for the RoadyXT?
The RoadyXT comes with a swivel dash mount and a vent adaptor so you can choose which style is best for your vehicle. The swivel mount can be attached to many cell phone mounts. It can also be adjusted by loosening the screw located in the center of the mount.

Can I get up-to-date sports scores with my RoadyXT?
Yes. RoadyXT has a sports ticker that is customizable to your favorite teams. The RoadyXT also has a stock ticker that displays your customized stocks and scrolls them continuously. The Comstock data broadcast by XM Radio currently does not include the averages e.g. DJI; NAZDAQ; etc. This service only contains currently listed stocks – no OTC data.
